SERVICE OVERVIEW

BUILDING CONFIDENCE AROUND INFANT FEEDING

This class is designed for pregnant and new moms to provide essential knowledge and practical skills for feeding a newborn. Participants discuss the benefits of breastfeeding and how lactation develops during the first days and weeks postpartum. The class also covers tips for achieving a comfortable and effective latch and signs that a baby is getting enough milk. Parents can ask questions about current feeding concerns while learning information that can help them feel more prepared. Support people are also included in the conversation so families can understand how to provide meaningful assistance during feeding. The goal is to empower parents with practical knowledge, encourage confidence, and create a supportive foundation for navigating infant feeding during pregnancy, the early postpartum period, and the first weeks with baby.
