“Walk For Moms” is our annual Maternal Mental Health Awareness and fundraising campaign: it's a movement that unites advocates of all ages, races, and backgrounds, and raises critical funds to support perinatal families; it opens the door for all mothers and birthing people to have access to free perinatal mental health peer support services; it gives opportunity to pregnant people to prevent postpartum depression; it gives free diapers and baby supplies to local children in need; it raises awareness about Maternal Mental Health and shines a light on a struggles that many parents don’t speak about.
Walk for Moms is a fun way to honor a mother in your life, spend the afternoon with friends and family, and come together to celebrate Moms and families in our community! Bring your kiddos as we will have stations with games, A BOUNCY HOUSE, and multiple activities for kids to enjoy! We will also have nursing station and changing station. There will be different booths with local family service providers - come and learn how our community supports young families.
Registration is FREE and we will have food and drinks for everyone. You may also receive prizes for participating and raising money!
All proceeds go directly to help offset costs and keep our programs free and accessible to young mothers, fathers and children 0-5 in our community.
We look forward to bringing community together and providing the crucial support to the perinatal families in need.
