Peer Support Groups provide a safe and judgment-free environment for expectant and new mothers to freely express and share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, and firsthand information. We will learn about PMADs, encourage each other, vent our frustrations, fist-bump our successes, and enjoy the company of each other. This is a free drop-in online peer support group. Maternidad y Esperanza is a weekly Spanish-speaking postpartum support group led by The Buckelew Programs. This group program has proven highly effective in alleviating isolation and stress experienced by new mothers. Group discussions include child development, health and nutrition, and effective caregiving.
