SUPPORT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

PROGRAMS & COMMUNITY RESOURCES

PPSC's programs help new parents navigate the perinatal period, ease parental stress, and build real support systems — especially where cost and long wait times make treatment hard to reach. Everything below is offered in both English and Spanish.

FIND SUPPORT & RESOURCES

SUPPORT, RESOURCES & COMMUNITY CARE

Explore trusted support, educational programs, practical resources and referrals designed to help mothers and families feel informed, supported and empowered throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Peer Support

Mom to Mom Peer Counseling

Trained volunteers who've lived through perinatal struggles themselves offer individualized support to mothers and their support teams — modeling recovery, teaching coping skills, and staying available by email, phone, text, chat, or in person.

Practical Aid

Marin Diaper Bank

The first diaper bank in Marin County, providing diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials to low-income families each month — because no parent should have to choose between diapers and food.

Peer Support

Postpartum Peer Support Groups

A weekly online drop-in group led by trained peers, focused on emotional and social support, practical help, and education. New members are always welcome — no need to sign up in advance.

Prevention

The ROSE Program

Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for mothers of newborns: four 90-minute prenatal sessions teaching pregnant women to recognize depression's warning signs and build a network of support. It's the only evidence-based PPD prevention program shown to cut risk in low-income mothers by half.

Direct Line

Support Line — 415-320-6707

Call or text and a trained peer will listen, offer emotional support, and connect you with local, high-quality treatment providers when that's needed.

Education

Birth Preferences Class

Helps expecting parents understand their options through birth and early postpartum care, with a birth-preferences template and unbiased, evidence-based discussion of pain management and common procedures.
