EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

IVANA JAGODIC

Founder and Executive Director

Ivana Jagodić is the Founder and Executive Director of the Postpartum Support Center (PPSC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that every family has access to compassionate support during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivana brings both lived experience and professional passion to her work. Inspired by her own journey through perinatal mental health challenges, she founded PPSC in 2019 with the vision of building a community where no parent has to navigate the transition to parenthood alone. Under her leadership, PPSC has grown into a trusted county-wide resource, serving thousands of families each year through peer support, case management, parent education, basic needs programs, and collaborative partnerships. A passionate advocate for maternal mental health, early childhood equity, and family well-being, Ivana works closely with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local leaders to strengthen systems of care for families throughout Marin County. Her leadership has helped earn PPSC multiple community honors, including Marin Magazine's Best of the County awards for Best Community Service and Best Fundraising Event. Above all, Ivana is the proud mother of two daughters, who inspire her every day to create a community where every parent feels supported and every child has the opportunity to thrive

ANDREW SMITH

Fatherhood Support and Operations Coordinator

Andrew is a born and raised native son of Marin County, and a lifelong Bay Area resident. Growing up, he always loved Marin and never understood why anyone would leave. In his early 20’s he came to understand that not everyone can enjoy the Bay Area in the way that he has been blessed to. Economic inequality, chemical dependency, mental illness, or just plain bad luck can turn this paradise into a bad dream. After a 15 year career in church administration and youth work in San Francisco and the Peninsula, Andrew is delighted to be back in Marin to serve the people in this community. As the father of a wickedly sharp son, and having seen postpartum depression first-hand, he knows that parents need all the help they can get in this world. With perinatal mental health programs now in place for fathers and partners, in addition to mothers, the help is there in Marin for those who need it and seek it out. You’re not alone – let’s all walk this path together!
