ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENT
THE MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH FORUM & TRAINING
A day of learning, dialogue, and collaboration focused on supporting parents and strengthening families in our community. The forum brings together providers, advocates, students, and community members committed to advancing maternal and paternal mental health — presented by PPSC together with First 5 Marin, the County of Marin, and Dominican University of California.
Please stay tuned for more information about our 2027 training. We are currently planning to hold it either in the second half of April or in early May.

KNOW THE RISKS
RISK FACTORS
Getting used to being a parent is hard work on its own. Add a difficult birth, a colicky baby, or a run of sleepless nights, and stress can build quickly. None of these guarantee a mental health condition will develop — but they’re worth watching for.
Past obstetric complications
Stressful or unplanned pregnancy
History of miscarriage
Long or complicated labor
