The journey from pregnancy through the postpartum period is full of questions, decisions, and transitions. Our Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum Support program provides education, planning tools, and personalized doula support so families feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.


BIRTH PREPARATION
Birth Preparation provides expecting parents with practical education and guidance to help them understand the childbirth process and feel more prepared. Learning what to expect can reduce uncertainty while helping parents develop confidence, ask informed questions, and make decisions that reflect their individual needs and preferences.
Participants can explore common stages of labor, comfort strategies, communication with providers, and ways partners can provide support. The goal is to create a welcoming learning environment where parents feel informed, prepared, and more confident approaching their birth experience.

FEEDING / BREASTFEEDING BASICS
Feeding and Breastfeeding Basics provides expecting and new parents with practical information about infant feeding and breastfeeding. Participants can learn about feeding expectations, common challenges, positioning, feeding cues, and ways to build confidence while caring for their newborn.
The class offers a supportive environment where parents can ask questions, discuss concerns, and explore different feeding approaches. Education and guidance can help families feel more prepared to recognize their baby’s needs and make informed feeding decisions throughout the early postpartum period.

PREPARING FOR YOUR POSTPARTUM
Preparing for Your Postpartum helps expecting parents understand the physical, emotional, and practical changes that can occur after childbirth. Preparing ahead can help families develop realistic expectations, identify support needs, and create strategies for navigating the early weeks of parenthood.
Participants can explore recovery, emotional well-being, newborn care, relationships, rest, and available support resources. The class encourages thoughtful preparation so parents feel more informed, supported, and confident as they transition into postpartum life and adjust to their changing family needs.

NEWBORN CARE
Newborn Care provides parents and caregivers with practical education about caring for a newborn during the early weeks of life. Participants can learn about everyday routines, feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep, safety, and recognizing their baby’s individual needs and behaviors.
The class creates a supportive space for questions and hands-on learning while helping families build confidence. Understanding essential newborn care practices can make the transition into parenthood feel more manageable and help caregivers create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for their baby.

WRITING YOUR BIRTH PREFERENCES AND POSTPARTUM PLAN
Writing Your Birth Preferences and Postpartum Plan helps expecting parents thoughtfully prepare for childbirth and the transition into postpartum life. Creating a plan can encourage meaningful conversations about preferences, support needs, communication, recovery, newborn care, and emotional well-being before the baby arrives.
Parents can explore their priorities while considering different possibilities and identifying people or resources they may need. The process encourages flexibility while helping families feel more organized, informed, and confident about communicating their preferences and preparing for the postpartum experience.

DOULA SUPPORT
Doula Support provides compassionate, nonjudgmental guidance to individuals and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. Doulas can offer emotional, informational, and practical support while helping parents feel more informed, heard, and confident during this important life experience.
Support can include comfort measures, encouragement, preparation, advocacy, and guidance while navigating birth and early parenthood. Doula support complements medical care by focusing on the family’s experience, helping parents feel supported and empowered throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
