Doula Support provides families with emotional, informational, and practical support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Doulas help parents prepare for the transition into parenthood by offering guidance, encouragement, and a supportive presence throughout this important life change. Families can discuss their questions, concerns, preferences, and goals while receiving information that can help them feel more prepared. During the postpartum period, doulas can provide continued encouragement as parents adjust to caring for their new baby and navigating their changing roles and routines. This support complements the services available through the Postpartum Support Center and community partners. The goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident while creating a stronger foundation for healthy beginnings and positive experiences throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
