SERVICE OVERVIEW

SUPPORT FROM EXPERIENCED PARENT PEERS

Becoming a father is easy. Being one is hard. There is no road map, and often no teachers. When the going gets tough, fathers and partners do not have to simply handle everything alone. Our peer dads are trained to listen without judgment so you can receive the support you need. The service offers an opportunity to speak with someone who has experienced the challenges of fatherhood and understands how difficult the transition can be. There is no travel time and no fee, making it easier to connect when support is needed. Peer counseling provides a space to talk openly, share concerns, and feel heard. By connecting with another father who understands, participants can find encouragement and support while navigating the responsibilities of parenthood.
