MARIN MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH COLLABORATIVE
A collaborative network connecting community partners to strengthen maternal mental health support, improve coordination, expand access to care, and help families receive resources throughout Marin County.
SERVICE OVERVIEW
BUILDING STRONGER MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH
The Marin Maternal Mental Health Collaborative brings community partners together to strengthen the local system of support for maternal and perinatal mental health. Collaboration helps organizations share knowledge, coordinate resources, and create stronger connections between families and appropriate care. Perinatal mental health concerns can have wide-reaching effects on parents, partners, children, relationships, and communities, making coordinated support especially important. By working together, community organizations and providers can help improve access to information, referrals, behavioral health services, peer support, and other resources. The collaborative approach supports a more connected system where families can receive assistance without having to navigate every service alone. Through shared learning and partnership, the initiative works toward more accessible, equitable, and responsive maternal mental health support for families throughout Marin County.
Perinatal mental health conditions are common, temporary, and treatable with the right support.
